Today the largest newspaper in circulation in Austin, Texas published excerpts from a letter that our firm published and sent to the V.A. oversight committee on behalf of a Veteran Administration employee whom we represent at the San Antonio, Texas V.A. Hospital. The Veteran had anonymously revealed information pertaining to the 14 day wait list fraudulent scheme that the V.A. has recently been caught engaging in.
In this instance the V.A. had the audacity to report to the media that our client had met with V.A. officials and retracted his allegations. This allegation is wholly and completely incorrect and caused our client great harm. It is our great hope that the ultimate outcome of this travesty is that the Veterans ultimately get to be seen and cared for in the manner that they deserve and have the utmost respect for everything our client has had the guts to stand up for a great risk and peril to his career.
