We recently assisted a federallicensed practical nurse (LPN) with his FERS disability claim. He suffers from several, chronic, spinal/structural medical conditions, including lumbar disc degeneration, cervical disc degeneration, migraine headaches, and arthritis of the right knee.

As is typical for these types of disabling conditions, this employee possesses a staggering amount of medical documentation (spanning several years), including MRIs, X-rays, and operative summaries. We worked closely with the employee and his physician to pinpoint and organize the relevant medical records for inclusion with his disability application package.

Although quite tedious and time-consuming, everyone’s hard work ultimately paid off, and we’re delighted to report that this employee was recently approved for FERS disability retirement – congratulations and good luck!
